We are seeking a Graphic Designer with at least two years of graphic design and web design support, preferably in association or healthcare related industries. 

The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing visual assets based on approved campaign direction. This role combines creative leadership with hands-on design expertise to deliver compelling, on-brand visuals across print, digital, and environmental platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Execute campaign visuals aligned with approved concepts and messaging
  • Produce deliverables including social graphics, ads, print and digital assets 

Production Design

  • Create day-to-day design assets across departments 
  • Format materials including presentations, toolkits and collateral 
  • Adapt designs for multiple formats and channels 

Website Design & Digital Brand Presence

  • Own visual design standards for NATA-managed websites (nata.org, convention.nata.org, and microsites).
  • Design page layouts, navigation elements, and visual systems supporting usability and accessibility.
  • Maintain branded page designs and graphics while preserving site integrity.
  • Manage visual organization of the NATA Member Resource Library for clarity and ease of use.
  • Collaborate with IT and web teams to implement approved designs and resolve technical constraints.

Brand Identity & Logo Development

  • Serve as a steward of NATA’s brand identity across all platforms.
  • Ensure consistency in typography, color and layout 
  • Maintain consistency across logo systems while allowing flexibility for sub-brands and campaigns.

Organization-Wide Design Support

  • Design branded resources for committees (infographics, toolkits, databases).
  • Create on-brand materials for staff needs (ads, fliers, banners, presentations).
  • Develop promotional assets for districts and states ensuring national brand alignment.
  • Support staff, committees and districts with design needs 
  • Produce assets for events, education and advocacy initiatives 

Workflow, Quality Control & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet brand, accessibility, and production standards.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline templates and design systems for efficiency.
  • Maintain organized file systems and asset libraries

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of graphic design experience
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and digital design tools. 
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, and layout principles.
  • Experience with web design and CMS platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Canva (for org-wide templates) 

  • Basic web design (WordPress) 

  • Accessibility standards (WCAG)

Salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 annually.
